What are the advantages of a motorized package?
With this package you can receive up to two dozen satellites with just one dish. Instead of cluttering your house with a farm of dishes, this single package will do it all. This is ideal if you want to get more free-to-air satellites and channels, or if you'd like to experiment with the best hobbyists' toy available.
How does the motor move?
The motor is controlled by your free-to-air satellite receiver. The coaxial line between the receiver and motor carries both the signal and power. There is no extra power cords required.
Do I need to use a positioner to control the motor?
No you do not need a position. You can simply use your receiver as a positioner to move the motor and to store the various satellite positions.
Can the motor be used in the winter too?
Yes, our high-quality motors are designed to operate all year round and withstand even the harsh Canadian winters, and provide year after year of solid performance.
How fast does the motor move?
Between nearby satellites, the motor only takes seconds to move. To move from your Eastern-most to your Western-most satellite, the motor can do it in less than a minute.
